This notice explains what information may be handled when you browse the GP Gadget Hub website or contact the business. We aim to collect only what is needed to operate the site, understand product interest and respond to enquiries.
Information handled by the website
The site can record page visits and product views for the owner’s traffic dashboard. When analytics is enabled, the event includes the page path or product ID, a timestamp and a randomly generated session ID. The ID is kept in your browser’s session storage; the analytics event is sent to the site’s Supabase project. The site does not ask visitors for their name, email address or phone number in an online form.
Our hosting and database providers may also process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services, such as connection and device information. The site’s analytics does not intentionally collect precise location data.
When you contact GP
If you choose to call, email, or open WhatsApp or a social media link, those services handle information under their own terms and privacy notices. A WhatsApp message is not sent until you choose to send it. Information you share with GP may be used to answer your question, confirm a product or service, and follow up on your enquiry.
Storage, providers and public listings
The website is configured to use Netlify for hosting and Supabase for its catalogue, owner tools, product images and, when enabled, analytics. These providers process information to provide their services. Published product details and images are intended to be visible to website visitors. Private inventory and owner tools are intended for the authorised business owner.
The site currently uses browser session storage for its analytics session ID and browser storage for the owner’s sign-in session. It is not configured with advertising pixels or marketing cookies. Links to WhatsApp, TikTok, Instagram and map services leave this website; their own privacy practices apply.
Retention and your choices
You can block browser storage in your browser settings, though some site functions may not work as intended. Analytics records are kept in the business’s Supabase project and may be removed by its owner. Enquiry details are kept only as needed to respond and manage the related business matter, or as required by law.
You may contact us to ask about personal information you have provided, or to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection where applicable. You may also have a right to data portability or to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
